History

1980 - 1990

In 1984, two young entrepeneurs start a common project called Foticos: Jesús Fernández, who had 7 years of experience in the sector, and being at that time CCO, and Eva Vázquez, born in a family dedicated to the world of photography for generations.

Everything started in a downtown photography services store, equipped with the latest technologies in terms of photo printing and treatment, and the most innovative methods of development in Zaragoza.

1990 - 2000

In a short time span of 10 years their business had been extended to nearly every corner of Spain. By 1994, they were working with around 50 stores (franchised) while generating around 3.000.000€ of revenue.

With a decrease in the expansion of the company, the company started proposing more diverse services since 1996, and positioning itself as a market leader in the photography and image sector, consolidating the company.

2000 - 2010

The era of personalisation had arrived, and every product became unique, every order designed by the client, leaving it 100% up to the client to design the perfect product.

In the next 3 years, we went from supplying 50 stores (franchised) to 2000 shops (free partners) showing the brand «Regalos Personales». The world of personalisation put Foticos on the top of the national market.

2010 - 2013

In 2011, came the necessity to enter new markets, and adjust to new customer behaviours. Especially online shopping, outlets, etc...

With a team of 40 people, and seeing the global need for personalised products, the company took the step to go global and sell in other countries.

2013 - 2016

This was the period in time when the company grew the most. Growth has been exponential thanks to the development of online markets in more than 25 countries.

The environment that resides in the company, even though the company and workforce grows, creates a family environment every day more open, sharing precious moments and creating special memories together.

2016-Now

On the 13th June 2016 the new facilities were inaugurated, and the same summer all the departments were moved to the new Headquarters of 6.500m2, which include a large children’s playground, sports fields, a gym room... all at the disposal of our employees.

The total of machinery already surpasses 160. At the same time that the number of orders increase, customer complaints decrease, consolidating us increasingly as a reference in the industry, both in personalisation and online sales.
